Beach weddings in Florida are heavily influenced by weather with spring and fall being the most popular and busiest time of year for ceremonies. Summer heat, humidity and frequent thunderstorms make any outdoor occasion a risky proposition and so this is the slowest time of the year for beach weddings. Florida winters do get chilly and occasionally down to freezing, but the chance of rain is reduced. This time of year is popular with our northern visitors who are tired of shoveling snow.

However, it is important to remember that all of this information is called climate, what we expect to happen. Weather is what you get on a given day and can vary significantly from normal. It is highly recommended that you have a plan B location chosen as an indoor alternative for you beach ceremony. Our favorite option locally is the Bon Appetit waterfront restaurant in Dunedin.
